Feel Human
at Work
Do you have a happy, motivated and effective team?
Emotional health is fundamental to reaching our highest potential.
My Feel Human at Work programme aims to build emotional resilience and intelligence, empowering all staff to grow and develop, whilst promoting an open and inclusive culture of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. It draws on both my therapeutic expertise and my extensive business leadership experience, including most recently four years as Head of Wellbeing at a fast-paced London communications agency.
It can be tailored to meet the needs of any business.
The key approaches I use are Human Givens, Insights Discovery, and Positive Intelligence, as described below.

Group workshops
My practical, experiential workshops are designed to empower participants to enhance the quality of their own lives and the lives of those around them, while helping to foster a sense of belonging, mutual support and encouragement. Hearing others’ experiences and perspectives can provide helpful insights, building awareness of self and others. It can also validate feelings that participants might not have felt comfortable sharing, helping them to recognize they are not alone in their struggles: we are all human.
I aim to provide a uniquely rounded, lively and interactive experience, drawing on a range of therapeutic and coaching methods as well as my extensive leadership experience, including over 20 years at board level and most recently four years as Head of Well being at a fast-paced London communications agency.
Set up as a suite of modules lasting 1.5hrs-2hrs, they can be delivered online and in-person (in London) and can be grouped into half-day or full-day workshops, tailored for any group or organization.
The key topics I cover are listed below, and information on further modules, along with pricing structures, can be provided on request.

The questions we explore in each session

Feel Positive
Why do we have unhelpful patterns of behaviour such as judging, pleasing, avoiding?
What can we do to move on from these patterns?

Feel Empowered
What are the key qualities of a
great leader?
How can we empower others to learn and grow?

Feel Insightful
How can we use the Insights Discovery model to optimise team performance?
How can we optimise our own performance as leaders?
The three key approaches I use

Insights Discovery personality profiling methodology
A psychometric tool based on the psychology of Carl Jung, Insights Discovery is built to help people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace. It uses a simple four-colour model to help people understand their style, their strengths and the value they bring to the team.
An accredited Insights facilitator, I provide one to one sessions to introduce individuals to the methodology and to run through their profiles with them. My group Insights sessions are designed to optimize leadership and overall team performance.

Positive Intelligence Model
This approach aims to maximize both performance and wellbeing by developing an understanding of the key automated patterns in our minds that negatively affect how we think, feel and respond, and building the mental fitness required to overcome them.
Having trained in Positive Intelligence coaching, I offer a one-to-one course involving 4x90 minute sessions spread over 6 weeks, as well as a selection of group workshops to introduce and discuss the ideas.
Prior to working together, I may ask participants to use an online “Saboteur assessment” tool to put a name to the negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs that create stress, anxiety, self-doubt, frustration, restlessness and unhappiness. Identifying them is the first step towards overcoming them.
All three of these approaches focus on kindness and compassion:
a recognition that we are all human.
Coaching and mentoring
In these one-to-one sessions, as well as the above approaches, I draw on the wisdom of a range of world-class experts from the one-minute manager through to Brene Brown, and my own management experience and intuition, depending on what comes up.
Sessions usually last for 60 minutes.

Testimonials
I could not recommend Jane more highly, on both a personal and professional level. She is wise, caring and diligent in every aspect. She operates with great integrity and often goes above and beyond in her quest to help and do the right thing. Our journey started with Jane as my FD, a role in which she excelled and, helped also by her love of music, made her the coolest FD in the business. Following her passions, she later moved to Head of Wellbeing where she introduced the Feel Human at Work programme as well as championing the use of Insights tools to enhance performance and team work. This led to her launching her own business and we remain today a happy and engaged client. Myself and the business have benefitted greatly from Jane's support, teaching and methods and long may that continue.

Testimonials
I enjoyed the breathing activity, as it helped me figure out a way of managing stress and anxiety that's also easy to do in the workplace.
It felt like a really calm and contained space, to explore the ideas from, and an easy environment to share with other people in the team.
The general atmosphere felt like a very safe space for sharing. It was great that Jane created a space in which we could all talk about mistakes we've made, things we'll do differently etc.
I feel that Jane really practises what she preaches and has such a lovely, calm manner.
It's nice to be around!
